Nashville Based Genisys Group Inc, a Leading Provider of Storage Area Networks (SANS), Virtualization, & Disaster Recovery Announces a Pledge to Donate 10% of New Virtualization and Disaster Recovery Revenue to Help the Nashville Flood Relief Effort.

Online PR News – 03-June-2010 – – Genisys Group Inc. announces a 10% donation of new virtualization and disaster recovery services revenue to help the recent Middle Tennessee flood efforts. The Nashville flood damage is estimated to soar to over $1 billion dollars and several years of rebuilding.

The Franklin, Tennessee based company has provided support and disaster relief in other disasters including the massive Katrina flood relief effort. "We are proud to make this donation," said Genisys Vice President of Finance and Operations Amy Levy. “Our company and employees wanted to do something to help those affected by this disaster, our families and friends have seen first hand the devastation and destruction that the floods have caused. Our company has always been headquartered in Middle Tennessee and we really want to help the community that has helped us achieve the growth and success."

Damages to Nashville alone now are being estimated at $1.5 billion, a total that is expected to rise because all areas had not been fully checked. Many musicians and companies have helped in raising flood damage awareness and donations through benefit events and concerts including a massive benefit concert held on Sunday that raised more than $1.7 million for relief in the region. The concert included Nashville stars Brad Paisley, Dierks Bentley, Lady Antebellum, Keith Urban, Sheryl Crow and Martina McBride who played a sold-out Ryman Auditorium as part of the "Music City Keep on Playin' – A Benefit for Flood Relief" telethon, broadcast on the Great American Country network.

Many businesses with ties to Middle Tennessee have pledged donations and services to help the relief effort, including Nashville based health care provider HCA and Nissan, whose North American operations are headquartered in Franklin, Tennessee, a suburb of Nashville.
