Online PR News – 03-June-2010 – – Phoenix, AZ – CollegeAmerica has introduced a General Education Development (GED) tutoring program at its campus in Phoenix, Arizona. CollegeAmerica offers this program – at no charge – at its facilities in Colorado Springs and Denver in Colorado.
The tutoring will be offered at no charge to interested candidates at the Phoenix campus. To register for the program, candidates need to meet with the Admissions Consultant and go through the admission process. The Admissions Consultant will also make sure the program fits their specific requirements.
Once they register, candidates will be given a pre-test to identify the subject areas that need focused coaching. They can then start coming for tutoring at a time convenient to them as there are no fixed schedules to keep things flexible.
Interested candidates are encouraged to remain in coaching until they feel confident of taking the tests to give them the best chance of passing and earning the GED credential.
When candidates are ready to take the tests, they are asked to finish the admission process and commit to attend CollegeAmerica. The college then arranges for them to take the examination at a neighboring testing facility. All candidates are required to take the tests at the same center.
Students need to score at least 60 percent or higher to pass the GED test and get the certificate. Once they have the requisite score, they can choose to enroll in a degree program that best suits their interest, aptitude, and goals.
