Hometown NBA Player, Travis Outlaw Hosts 8th Annual Basketball Camp

Residents & Kids to Participate in NBA Player’s Annual Basketball Camp

Online PR News – 11-June-2013 – Starkville, MS – NBA player, Travis Outlaw of the Sacramento Kings has announced his annual basketball camp, The Elite 25- which will take place June 25-27, 2013----in Starkville, MS at the Starkville Sportsplex, 405 Lynn Lane from 8a.m.-12 noon. This is a three day event with the cost for attendance being $75.00.

The Elite 25 Camp give kids the opportunity to be face to face with Outlaw and other NBA players. They will be participating in team building exercises, dribbles, and defensive techniques, working on fundamentals and of course shooting skills. The camp sessions are open to all youth in grades 6-12. Space is limited with early registration available until June 24, 2013. You can pick up/drop off registration packets at the Starkville Sportsplex or mail them to P. O. Box 1849 Starkville, MS 39760. There will be onsite registration on June 24, 2013 from 9am-2pm.

The camp is designed to teach the youth about communication, sportsmanship, and the most important thing…teamwork. The camp also wants to focus on self discipline and how it can be developed and maintained. The success of this camp comes from seeing the work, dedication and the growth of their game on and off the court.

The coaches involved all want to help the campers become confident individuals, who are mentally prepared in life and basketball.

Our success in past years was extraordinary and we are looking for even greater achievement this year.
