An action game set in the backdrop of Cuban Missile Crisis, available on Apple App Store NOW
Online PR News – 08-June-2013 – San Fransisco – Air Strike Classic is a new iOS Game developed by Gamifyd, a mobile game studio based in San Francisco.
The game is set in the 1960’s cold war era, when the Cuban Missile crisis was threatening to blow up into a full-fledged nuclear war. As the first, last and the only line of defense you control the gun turret which rains fire into the skies, hitting copters, planes and enemy paratroopers landing by the dozen every other second. A momentary lapse of attention can result in your base getting bombed by paratroopers or enemy missiles.
Gameplay is engaging and the controls smooth, ensuring that the game is suitable for casual gamers looking for fun. In subsequent versions, the game developers promise rolling updates to the quick play version, laying the ground for an interesting plot where USSR forces try to break the blockade created by US forces around Cuba.
Air Strike Classic is available for free on the Apple iTunes store from 8th June. To download click here.
