WLCI students receive training alongside business management course

LCI students receive training as part of the highly acclaimed flagship programme of the college known as the ‘Traineeship Advantage’.

By virtue of being a WLCI student, every student is eligible to apply for training in the partnered firms. The College trains the students to appear for the interviews and clear them.

The institute has collaborated with over 400 institutes to provide training to the students. Reputed top firms have partnered with WLCI that offer part-time paid job to its students. Students receive stipend ranging from Rs. 12000 to Rs. 15000 per month. Some of the partnered organizations are: Bajaj Capital Coca Cola, Crown Solution, Hindustan Times Media, HDFC Standard Life, Franklin Templeton, IDFC Mutual Funds, IDBI, Kotak Mahindra Bank and Hindustan Times Media. Recently, a number of students have been placed as trainees and they are receiving an attractive amount of stipend.

WLCI student Ruth Ann Varghese has been placed as a trainee with INTEL and he’ll get a stipend of Rs. 2, 40,000.00 P.A , Kandamaran Mohanan will be working placed with COCA- COLA and will receive an amount of Rs 1,44,000.00 P.A as stipend. Ajiteshwar will work with Hindustan Times and get a stipend of Rs. 1, 20,000.00 P.A. Another WLCI Amit Kumar Tiwari is working at IDFC and will get an amount of Rs.1, 50,000.00 as stipend.

The performance of the students is jointly assessed by both the WLCI trainers and mentors at the workplace. The students are highly encouraged to gives their best performance. Eventually, the students get trained to be a part of the workplace and thus seamlessly transform themselves from a student to a full-time employee. Trained WLCI students are highly preferred by employees. WLCI students most of the time get hired by the partnered firms or get recruited by other top organizations.
