SEO training given to students at a local college. The benefits of learning how to optimize a website and using techniques that include link building to boost rankings for business.
Online PR News – 13-May-2013 – Birmingham, West Midlands – A leading Birmingham web design company this week launched the first of a series of SEO training courses. Opace is an established provider of internet marketing services, and the training is being launched jointly with Birmingham’s Bourneville College.
‘Blogging for Business’ is a free SEO training taster course designed for small and medium sized businesses, and aimed at those with little or no SEO experience or knowledge. The course takes place on Thurs 30th May at 9am at Bournville College, Longbridge Lane, Longbridge, Birmingham, B31 2AJ.
The course is intended to be the first in a series of courses focussed on ‘How to promote yourself using Blogging and Content Marketing’. The aim is to help businesses make the most of changing aspects of internet marketing.
David Bryan, founder and MD of Opace, said this week “We have always provided training for our clients – from SEO training to product related training based on our product portfolio including Magento eCommerce and Joomla. However, this is the first time we have provided a general training activity for the Birmingham-business sector. It’s important that any business that has a website makes sure they keep up to date with the latest practices and activities to help them make the most of their marketing.”
“Blogging is a case in point. Five years ago it was the preserve of geeks and students, but it soon became clear that they were a good way to communicate; consumers found they addressed specific issues not always dealt with on an organization's website, and businesses found them useful in building loyalty and confidence.”
“Most businesses are surprised at how easy it is to create a blog and the content for the blog. Done properly they can help boost a company's overall search performance and will certainly help in many other areas of their marketing goals.”
The SEO training session will be presented by a number of the Opace team, as David added “We all have complementary skills and strengths so we can present an allround view of the subject. However, everything we do is business-focussed: as a small, growing company we understand the pressures of running a business. Those attending the session will be able to take away some practical and implementable actions and information which will benefit their organization.”
Further information on the training courses and the full range of services offered by Opace can be found on their website at www.opace.co.uk.
