Online PR News – 09-May-2013 – DEDHAM, MASS., May 8, 2013 – The article “Customer-centric enhancements to IBM BPM and IBM ODM simplify and modernize” explains IBM’s new V8.5 for both products, which better integrate with other IBM products and have a simplified user interface.
“These new updates to ODM and BPM significantly improve business rules processing for companies that use IBM’s products,” says Cara Hogan, Features Editor for WebSphere Insights. “IBM has responded to customer feedback, addressing areas for improvement from past versions and adding in new features.”
IBM BPM V8.5 has a new Dashboard toolkit, expanded Web Services support and local documents access via CMIS. IBM ODM V8.5 also offers a new Decision Governance Framework, improvements to the Decision Table editor and an added REST Execution API, according to Eric Herness, Distinguished Engineer and BPM and Decision Management CTO at IBM.
“We’re maturing on this platform, we’re listening to our customers and we’re taking that guidance, filling in gaps and adding accelerators wherever it makes the most sense and gets the value for the customer,” explains Herness.
