Chevrolet has reached another quarter of record global sales, marking its 10th consecutive quarter.
Online PR News – 09-May-2013 – Burns Harbor, IN – Chevrolet has been making its mark across the globe. At the end of March, Chevrolet posted its 10th straight quarter of record global sales, reaching over 1.18 million vehicles sold. These high sales numbers are due in large part to Chevy’s new global vision and launch of 25 new or significantly redesigned models. Several of these vehicles are currently available at Arnell Chevrolet in Burns Harbor, Indiana.
“Find New Roads” is the global vision Chevrolet introduced earlier this year. The American automaker decided to change its tagline to appeal to a broader audience as it continued to push for global expansion. The new vision has had an immensely positive effect as sales have continued to increase globally. Domestically, Chevrolet saw a five percent increase; the automaker also saw a three percent increase in Brazil and a two and a half percent increase in the Chinese market.
“Chevrolet is growing around the world by leveraging GM’s global engineering and design expertise to deliver the right products in the right markets,” said Mark Reuss, GM President of North America.
With the latest technologies from GM, Chevrolet has undergone one of its largest new product rollouts, launching 25 new products into global markets. These include the all-new Corvette Stingray, the Silverado, and the Impala, as well as others in foreign markets such as the Spin, Trax, Orlando, and Colorado. One of the most anticipated rollouts will be the new Cruze Diesel, which will be launched later this year.
