CUBAN FARMING INNOVATIONS TO BE DISCUSSED

Online PR News – 06-May-2013 – St. Petersburg, FL – Bill Bilodeau, board member of the Sustainable Urban Agriculture Coalition (SUAC),will give a presentation about his recent trip to Cuba, where he was introduced to some of the farming innovations that have been developed to grow more food there. The meeting will be held on May 6th, Monday at 7 p.m.,at the Coquina Key Community Center, 3850 Pompano Dr SE, St Petersburg, FL 33705. There will be a Q&A period. Information about SUAC, its mission and current activities will also be offered. The meeting is free and open to the public. This is an opportunity to learn more about serving the community by working with this group of dedicated volunteers, who are striving to facilitate the growth and distribution of fresh, locally grown produce in the area.
