California high school senior starts on-line charity to benefit The One Fund Boston, Inc.; grosses $20,000 in just first two weeks...

Online PR News – 06-May-2013 – Mission Viejo, CA – I am Slater Goodman, an 18 year old senior at Capistrano Valley High School in Mission Viejo, CA. I started Boston Strong Tanks to raise money for The One Fund Boston, Inc. One hundred percent of the proceeds go to The One Fund, and our website, www.bostonstrongtanks.com took in $20,000 in just the first two weeks. The tanks and T's are manufactured in Orange County, California and buyers from all over the world have bought shirts. My brother, a Harvard student, lifeguarded with Suspect #2 at the Harvard pool and I also met Suspect #2 while visiting the Harvard pool; both I and my brother know people who ran in the marathon and I felt that I needed to do something to help the victims, so I began www.bostonstrongtanks.com. In addition to on-line sales, several retailers are considering carrying the shirts to benefit the fund, including the large chain store, PacSun, in California.

I am a captain of the varsity swimming team and have a 5.0 GPA. I have devoted about 40 hours a week to www.bostonstrongtanks.com even though I am the middle of high school championship swim meets and four AP tests.

Any press/interviews about the shirts would surely help increase sales to benefit The One Boston Fund, Inc.
