Kirk Smith is inviting his fellow composers who want an opportunity to sell their music for use in ads, films or TV to submit their music to his “stock music” website, oakstockmusic.com.

Smith says that composers from all over the world – including the U.S., UK, Brazil, Israel, the Netherlands and beyond - have already submitted their music to his website, including professional composers with extensive credits in film and TV.
“Stock music is a win-win for producers and for composers,” said Smith, “Producers get the music they want without the hassle of licensing, and just as important, artists get paid for their work.”
Smith’s website offers multiple versions of tracks (short, medium and long) for $20 a download. Composers get a substantial share of each of their tracks that are purchased, and if the music is used in broadcast, they may get additional on-going royalty payments as well.
