The full colour printed matter has been distributed by Discount Electrical to companies across the UK, and proves, says the firm’s Alan Hoggard, that the catalogue is still an important method for communicating with customers.

“Printing so many catalogues might seem unusual to people in other industries, but we still find that it is one of the most important ways of letting our customers know about new products.” Says Alan. Alan continues, “Having the website is of course essential these days – and it can be updated as soon as something changes – for example a new product or some promotional change.""But many of our customers like to have the printed catalogue in their hands. Asked about how the recession is affecting business, Alan says “We’re actually booming at the moment – which comes as a surprise to some!”

Discount Electrical Supplies has a range of more than 12,000 products which include cable, cable management, wiring accessories, lighting, lamps & tubes and ventilation systems. Although predominantly serving customers in the United Kingdom, the firm also sells to buyers in Europe and further afield. Customers will be receiving new catalogues over the next few weeks.
