IPL: Fortis Healthcare is Kings XI Punjab's health partner

Fortis Hospital Mohali today announced its tie-up with IPL team Kings XI Punjab as its official medical partner for the tournament.

Online PR News – 13-April-2013 – Mohali – Fortis Hospital Mohali today announced its tie-up with IPL team Kings XI Punjab as its official medical partner for the tournament. IPL is in its sixth season and the first game at PCA Stadium Mohali is scheduled for April 10, 2013.
Hospital authorities said the partnership was intended to provide players with medical services throughout IPL-6. Apart from the players, even the spectators present during the matches taking place at PCA Stadium and HPCA Stadium Dharamshala will be able to avail the services at Fortis medical rooms and the ambulances stationed there during the games.
“Fortis will ensure best medical care to the players through our highly skilled doctors, superior diagnostic services, ambulatory care and paramedics, enabling the cricketers to perform their best on the field,” Fortis Hospital Mohali FD Abhijit Singh said.
With this tie-up with Kings XI Punjab, Fortis Healthcare would ensure that the home team and the fans are provided excellent medical care during IPL-6, the hospital authorities added. Fortis would depute over 40 medical and para-medical staff at the stadium on all home match days.
Four fully equipped Advanced Life Support (ALS) ambulances with expert medical team will also be stationed at the stadium for emergency support.
