Expo a fully-equipped home to business events
The multi-functionality of Expo’s Halls has allowed numerous business events to expand effortlessly. Not only can Expo accommodate large numbers of visitors, the versatile spaces available can also be efficiently configured to house a main exhibition in conjunction with a companion conference and other fringe activities (such as a Play Area for the little ones at NCE EXCO), all within a single contained venue.
To further incentivise planners who wish to transform their conferences into full-fledged business events, Expo had launched Simply EXPO Meeting Packages, which includes a Mega Package that provides for basic meeting facilities as well as an exhibition Hall for plenary sessions that can accommodate anywhere from 1,000 to 5,000 participants.
Says Chandran Nair, Deputy General Manager of Singex Venues Pte Ltd, the managing company of Expo, “To cater to a wider spectrum of audience and evolving needs, planners are now moving towards the delivery of multi-faceted business events. The Expo team recognises this trend and stands ready to assist its partners in realising this vision. In the instance of NCE EXCO, not only are we working with the organiser to execute the main Exhibition and companion Conference, we are also supporting our client in the areas of F&B catering, logistics and operations. With Simply EXPO Meeting Packages gaining traction since its introduction in October 2009, we forsee more all-rounded business events taking place at Expo, Asia’s pre-eminent convention and exhibition centre.”
