Colonial Heritage, A New Home Community Developed By Lennar Is Hosting Their First Annual Williamsburg Wine And Food Festival This Weekend.

The event, scheduled for Saturday, May 22 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday, May 23 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. will be held at the Colonial Heritage Clubhouse, 6500 Arthur Hills Drive in Williamsburg.

Food and wine demonstrations will be presented throughout the two-day epicurean extravaganza and attendees will have the chance to view fine art and purchase custom jewelry.
The Williamsburg Wine And Food Festival is bringing “Star Power” to its inaugural event including five-time Grammy and Academy Award winning recording artist, Christopher Cross and Kevin Zraly, one of the foremost wine educators in the world.
Best known for his hit songs, Sailing, Ride Like The Wind, Arthur’s Theme and Think of Laura, Christopher Cross is one of two solo artists to win all “Big Four” Grammy Awards for Record, Song, Album and New Artist in the same year.
Cross will host a special concert at the Festival on Saturday, May 22 at 7:30 p.m. Concert tickets are $15.
Kevin Zraly, founder and teacher of Windows On The World Wine School is also a best-selling author. His book, Windows On The World Complete Wine Course has sold more than three million copies. Zraly will share his knowledge with Festival guests on Saturday, May 22 during his signature wine appreciation seminar.
Guests attending the Williamsburg Wine And Food Festival will have the opportunity to purchase the event’s theme poster designed by world-renowned artist, Romero Britto.
Britto is represented in galleries and museums across the world. Alluding to influences of early and modern masters, Britto’s pulsating colors, pop themes and commanding compositions have led him to become the premier contemporary artist of his generation. The event will also feature well-known local artists including Christopher Mize and Dorothy Fegan.
This year's event will feature 32 Virginia wineries. The $25 pre-order general admission per person includes wine tasting. A two- day general admission is $40. Admission day of is $30 or $50 for two days. Concert tickets are purchased separately.
