04/10/2013

iWave is one of the earliest companies in the world to successfully design and test the PCIe switch functionality in Freescale's i.MX6 CPU.

Online PR News – 10-April-2013 – Bangalore – iWave is one of the earliest companies in the world to successfully design and test the PCIe switch functionality in Freescale's i.MX6 CPU. Though the Freescale's Linux BSP release supports only PCIe End Point devices for i.MX6 CPU, iWave's core Linux BSP team took the extreme step & implemented the PCIe switch on Linux BSP.

The PCIe switch functionality is successfully tested with different PCIe switch devices like IDT’s 5 port switch & PLX 16 port PCIe switches on iWave’s RainboW-G15D - i.MX6 Qseven Development platform. This development platform supports on-board standard PCIex1 connector where any PCIe switch devices can be inserted for validation.
