GAO's G.168 echo cancellation software features double-talk detection which avoids divergence during double talk. It also reduces returned echo level during single talk. Compliant with the ITU G.168 recommendation, this software supports proper operation during facsimile and low speed (9.6 Kbit/s) voice-band data transmissions.
