Special Wonder Woman Edition Sportage Revealed at New York Auto Show

The Wonder Woman Edition 2013 Kia Sportage was a huge hit at the New York Auto Show.

Online PR News – 08-April-2013 – Avondale, AZ – Kia has joined forces with DC Entertainment and Super Street magazine to construct another very eye-popping Justice League edition Kia, this time including the Sportage. Recently at the New York International Auto Show, Kia unveiled the new Wonder Woman-themed 2013 Kia Sportage. This continues the eight vehicle partnership with Kia and DC to introduce Kia models in the special edition theme of the Justice League. Included models are Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, The Flash, Aquaman, and Cyborg. The last vehicle will be a combination of all 7 superheroes rolled into one.

“As one of the most well-known Super Heroes in the world, Wonder Woman portrays an impressive balance of power, agility and confidence, all of which are inherent characteristics of the Kia Sportage crossover,” said Michael Sprague, executive vice president, marketing & communications, KMA.

The Justice League Kias are built to raise awareness for the “We Can Be Heroes” relief effort initiated by DC to assist and give hope to those hungry and suffering in the Horn of Africa.

“Like the rest of the Justice League-inspired vehicles, this customized Sportage signifies a meaningful collaboration between cars and pop-culture. And for the first time, here in New York, all seven vehicles are standing together in one place to raise awareness for DC Entertainment’s very worthy ‘We Can Be Heroes’ giving campaign,” said Sprague.

The Wonder Woman Sportage comes in the color scheme one might expect from a vehicle with such a name. The exterior is primarily red with blue highlights and white stars along the side. There is also a gold trim running throughout the vehicle, which is symbolic of the lasso that Wonder Woman uses as her go-to weapon. The heroine’s chest-plate emblem was incorporated into the grill and there are blue headlight beams which represent her signature blue eyes. The overall body style of this specific Sportage is very sleek and aggressive.

“This joint effort to raise awareness for the ‘We Can Be Heroes’ giving campaign continues to be a huge draw for fans across the country, and I’m sure New Yorkers will agree that the new Wonder Woman-inspired Sportage is a ‘must see’ feature at the show,” said co-publisher of DC Entertainment, Jim Lee.
Salazar Kia loves the new Wonder Woman Edition Sportage and applauds the efforts by Kia and DC to raise awareness for a great cause.
