Online PR News – 05-April-2013 – Rossino di Calolziocorte (Lecco) – Castello di Rossino, ancient medieval castle now transformed in a luxury wedding venue and private parties location, has updated its website with a more complete Guest Book area, which collects brides’ and grooms’ opinions about the Castle.

Italy is without a doubt a romantic Country, in which every year many tourists decide to spend their holidays or at least some weekends. The Bel Paese is one of the most visited Countries in Europe, and among the most successful features which make Italy so fascinating there are many historical and ancient buildings; some of them still exist in their original structure, and are currently used for different purposes and occasions.

Castello di Rossino is one of the most ancient and the best conserved castles in north Italy, and precisely it is located on the slopes of Mount Resegone, in an area that overlooks "that branch of Lake Como" -mentioned in “The Betrothed” by the Italian writer Alessandro Manzoni- and the medieval hamlet of Rossino, near Calolziocorte in the province of Lecco.

The castle is a fortified medieval building that is said to date back to the Thirteenth Century and after an initial period of splendour, it experienced a period of decline which ended at the end of the Eighteenth Century, when it was restored as a manor house. Now Castello di Rossino is used as a venue that hosts many private events every year.

Alessandro Manzoni himself was fascinated by this particular Castle to the point of choosing it as the home of "the Unnamed", one of the main characters of his novel; even now the castle is a location chosen by many couples for their wedding party, as it represents both a romantic ancient venue- thanks to the sophisticated and elegant rooms- and a splendid panoramic scenery with views on Como Lake, ideal for wedding photo books.

The owners keep the Castle website updated with every detail that can be useful for couples that would like to have some information about the private parties organized there and the services offered by the caste.

The Castel owners have recently updated a more detailed Guest Book in which many couples who chose Rossino Castle as a manor house wedding venue, have left their thoughts and feelings about the location, the wedding services and the Castle on the whole. The section comprehends feedbacks which date back to 2006 and describe the Castle and the location through the guest’s eyes, adding new and personal opinions about the Castle experience.
