The Voyage Institute Reaches Out to Recruit Tomorrow’s Brightest Science Stars

Voyage seeks to foster a better tomorrow by offering free science, GED, ESL, and reading certifications and seeks to empower disadvantaged individuals to seize a bright future in one of the world’s fastest growing industries.

Online PR News – 06-April-2013 – Altamonte Springs, Florida – How can someone without access to education hope to seize the opportunities of a technologically changing world? What can we as a society do to overcome today’s overwhelming issues of dwindling energy resources, mounting health care costs, and an economy in free-fall? How can a family survive in such an economy? When economists speak of a “lost decade”1 of a constant downpour of declining earning power where can you find light at the end of the tunnel?

The Voyage Institute’s mission is to educate and advance knowledge, all the while helping the socially disadvantaged, the economically underprivileged, and physically disadvantaged children and adults. We have and will continue to improve learning, human dignity and development in a diverse and rapidly changing technological society. Biotechnology not only offers a window to solving many of the most pressing issues facing the world today, but it offers a bright path that the workers of tomorrow can travel towards carving out their success.

Though today less than 1% of Americans (approximately 1 out of every 143 people that are currently employed) are involved in agriculture,2 this tiny portion of the workforce produces enough food to feed much of the entire planet. Why does it require only a small amount of farmers and why can they do so much more than many countries which have more than half of their workforce involved with agriculture? The answer is that biotechnology gives us the capability to get much more food than we could otherwise dream of from the same amount of land. Likewise, biotechnology is at the forefront of endeavors to extend the human lifespan in pharmaceuticals, in supplements, and in treatments of disease, and at the forefront of efforts to harness the power of a growing alternative energy sector Together we can ensure that no longer will a plentiful society be unable to meet basic food needs, and that no longer will a child be stripped of his or her ability to spend time with grandparents because a lack of proper medical resources robbed them of the precious time they have in this world. Now someone who never attended a day of college can excel in a career with unlimited potential. Every year more than a million students (that is 7000 every school day) drop out.3 Now this epidemic can finally be stopped and these students don’t have to slip through the cracks with Voyage’s GED certificates and scholarships. With America having over 16.5 million Spanish speakers unable to speak English well,4 no longer must this mean an impediment towards finding opportunity in an English-speaking society with Voyage’s ESL program.

No longer will this developing technology be merely the province of those in dusty lab coats in an inaccessible lab. The Voyage Institute is proud to announce that it has now opened its doors for its online classes. Learners from around the world, regardless of national origin, race, age, gender, socioeconomic status or educational background, will be selected by Voyage to represent the next generation of scientists. Be sure to view The Voyage Institute’s application in order to get started with a free scholarship and find out where Voyage can use you in this industry that is exploding onto the marketplace. With Voyage’s revolutionary hands-on learning style even those without prior experience can excel in the field of their choosing.
