National Highlights Inc., announces the Give Back 2 Initiative, a book fundraiser that supports organizations as well as school and public libraries with funding and books for young readers.

This book fundraising program supports organizations as well as school and public libraries with funding and books for young readers.

“The process is not only simple but it allows organizations to raise significant funds while supporting the literacy of our nations’ children,” says Managing Director Becki Stewart. “We are giving back dollar for dollar and at the same time, children across the country are gaining valuable reading materials. It’s a win-win for everyone.”

Organizations who participate in the initiative are encouraging supporters to purchase books from the National Highlights catalog of more than 2,000 titles. The selection of books is vast, ranging from topics of children’s books, Ripley’s Believe It or Not, popular biographies, and social issues. The cost of each book is $20, and half of that amount goes directly back into the hands of the participating organization.

“We believe this is a unique and easy way for athletic teams, community groups, and associations of all sorts to put forth a small amount of effort to raise significant funds for their groups.” says Stewart.

Supporters purchase books directly through the website using a promo code specific to each organization. National Highlights then sends the purchased books directly to the organization for distribution to its supporters, along with a check in the amount of half of all purchases to help support funding of that organization’s projects.
