Search Marketing Expert Joins SEO Technologies

A Houston Internet Marketing firm that specializes in providing search engine optimization and search marketing for small businesses has hired SEO Manager Elton Willis. Willis will oversee multi-faceted SEO campaigns, providing his expertise and creativity.

Online PR News – 19-May-2010 – – Houston-based Internet Marketing firm SEO Technologies has expanded its creative team to include small business search expert Elton Willis. He will be serving as the SEO Manager.

Willis first worked for SEO Technologies from 2006 to 2008. Now, he's rejoining the team in a leadership role. As SEO Manager, he collaborates with web designers and copywriters to develop and implement SEO strategies. He said he wants to stress teamwork in his new role.

"I look forward to using all our talents to achieve successful outcomes for our clients. I like when people come together and make decisions and implement strategies as a team, where everyone's adding to the equation," he said.

Like so many others who fell in love with search marketing, Willis took on the profession almost by accident. As recently as 2006, Willis worked as a certified respiratory therapy technician at a Houston hospital, putting in overnight shifts even as he was raising four children.

But his creative yearnings got the best of him, and he made the switch to Internet marketing. Through his own determination and willingness to learn, Willis has since mastered search engine optimization. He has helped contractors, lawyers, and health providers increase their profits through Internet marketing.

"SEO has an artistic appeal to me. There's no set-in-stone way of doing it. And me being a creative person, I latched onto it because it's so fluid; it's like making an artwork," he said.

Willis earned his associates degree at the Art Institute of Houston while working in the medical field. He continues to dabble in the visual arts in his spare time. Previously, he had been in the Air Force, and he grew up moving around the world with his Navy family.
