Kelsius, market leader in the provision of wireless temperature monitoring solutions for the pharma, healthcare and food sectors, announce the successful deployment of its first healthcare system in the Middle East.

Online PR News – 17-May-2010 – – Belfast (May 16, 2010) - Kelsius, market leader in the provision of wireless temperature monitoring solutions for the pharma, healthcare and food sectors, announce the successful deployment of its first healthcare system in the Middle East.

Working closely with its partner in the region, Al Aberah, Kelsius has successfully installed its wireless to web temperature monitoring system in the Madinat Zayed Hospital. The Madinat Zayed is one of the largest hospitals within the six hospital Al Gharbia Group, which is in turn managed by the renowned SEHA Group.

By utilising the Kelsius wireless sensor network and software as a service, temperature data from all fridges and freezers are monitored and the data is presented live online and can be easily accessed from any web enabled PC. If temperatures deviate outside of set parameters then staff members are alerted via audio and visual alarms, text messages and e-mail.

Local partner, Al Alberah, chose Kelsius as its manufacturer of choice because of the strength of technology, ease of use, ease of installation and the strong Kelsius reputation within other markets. Al Aberah is confident the Kelsius technology can easily be rolled out across the rest of the hospitals within the Al Gharbia group over the coming months.

Kelsius Business Development Director, Paddy Hearty, said: "This is a strategic win for Kelsius. Our technology and service has been proven in the UK and Irish healthcare markets and with this win we now have an excellent reference customer in the Middle East. Al Aberah is a fantastic partner for Kelsius and will be offering 1st line support to our customer base in Abu Dhabi. We look forward to doing more business with Al Alberah this year."

Mr. Ashfaq Ahmed from Al Aberah said: "We chose Kelsius for this hospital because of the quality of its technology and "can do" attitude. We are delighted with this installation and are looking forward to cementing our working relationship with further wins in the healthcare sector this year."

Al Aberah's Managing Director Mr. Andre Kikanou said: "We are delighted to be working with such a forward thinking company as Kelsius and we are excited at the prospect of doing more business with Kelsius in 2010."
