Preschool Book Drive for Sandy Kids
03/14/2013

With Super Storm Sandy still fresh in our minds, our Preschool children wanted to do something in addition to our previous food drive to help those in our community affected by the storm.

Online PR News – 14-March-2013 – Lincroft / NJ – We decided to have a book drive whereby families were able to donate new or gently used books to neighboring schools and libraries. Neighborhood families may donate new and gently used books at the school. Please call for drop-off information.
March and April weather in New Jersey is very unpredictable. We can experience weather ranging from Nor’easters to calm spring-like days. At Teddy Bear Learning Center, our Preschool explores these weather patterns in our extensive science unit. Through their use of science books, computers, charts, and outdoor observations we can detect some future meteorologists among our boys and girls. Reading, language, and literacy are a fundamental element of early childhood education. Our teachers carefully select interesting and exciting books each day to enhance our educational programs. Our extensive library and our “Love for Reading” philosophy provide a foundation for our emerging readers.

Teddy Bear Learning Center is a privately-owned preschool on its own one and a half acre campus. Our highest priorities are the safety and education of your child. The school is located in a residential area of Lincroft with beautiful classrooms, a secondary indoor gathering area, and a spacious play yard. The outdoor activity area includes four individual school yards that provide ample space for large-motor development and social interaction for all age groups. The large windows throughout the school provide children with a view of the park-like setting around the entire campus, allowing nature to become a part of the learning experience in the classroom, or just letting children enjoy the view of a new falling snow or birds playing at the feeder. Open enrollment all year round. Call for your personal tour.
