Toyota Announces Several Upgrades to 2013 Toyota Camry

The all-new Toyota Camry and Camry Hybrid will receive several upgrades for the 2013 model year

The all-new Camry will have upgraded LE and SE models as well as all-new safety features that will come standard on all models. The 2013 Toyota Camry is powered by a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine delivering 178 horsepower and 170 lb-ft. of torque. Leading the class in fuel efficiency, the EPA estimates the Camry to return 25 city/ 35 highway miles per gallon as well. A 3.5-liter V6 engine is also available for customers looking for a little more power, generating an impressive 268 horsepower and 248 lb-ft. of torque with an EPA-estimated 21 city/ 31 highway mpg fuel economy rating. New to the upgraded 2013 Camry is a six-speed automatic transmission available on LE, XLE and SE models as well.
Customers looking for a very fuel efficient Camry will love the new-generation Camry Hybrid featuring a Hybrid Synergy Drive powertrain. Coupling a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine and electric motor, the Hybrid returns 43 city/ 39 highway miles per gallon while delivering 200 horsepower. To keep emissions as low as possible, the Hybrid features a water-cooled exhaust gas recirculation system that also helps to increase fuel efficiency as much as possible.
Soft-touch material makes its debut in the LE and SE models of the 2013 Camry, replacing the plastic material found on current models. Color-matching interior armrests, leather seating and stitching accents on the door panels are now standard on LE grades of the Camry and Camry Hybrid.
