ClearpH Design Wins Big With 14 Addy Awards

ClearpH Design is proud to announce winning a grand total of 14 Tampa Bay ADDY® Awards, the most this year for any Bay Area agency. The American Advertising Federation presented ClearpH with 6 gold, 6 silver, 2 Best of the Bay and a Runner Up for the Best In Show Award.

SAINT PETERSBURG, FL, March 7, 2013 - ClearpH Design is proud to announce winning a grand total of 14 Tampa Bay ADDY® Awards, the most this year for any Bay Area agency. The biggest winners after ClearpH were BVK, with an impressive 5 awards and Raymond James Financial, with 4 winning entries. The American Advertising Federation presented ClearpH with 6 gold, 6 silver, 2 Best of the Bay and a Runner Up for the Best In Show Award. Among the gold awards were for the Brandon Lloyd Website, Wide Receiver for the New England Patriots; Reyn Guyer Collateral, the inventor of Twister; Swiss Stays Collateral, Swiss Stays Logo, Swiss Stays Photography and the Swiss Stays Website.

This year’s esteemed panel of judges the competition were: Patrick Scullin, Chief Creative Officer/founding partner at Ames Scullin O'Haire; Terri Brown, Chief Executive Officer/Partner at MLB Creative; Scott Creamer, Founder/President at Screamer Co. The awards were announced at the AAF Tampa Bay ADDY Awards Gala on Thursday, February 28, 2013 at the TECO Plaza and Tampa Theatre.

Out of the hundreds of entrants that were judged, only a mere 68 Addy's were awarded to large and boutique agencies, as well as students from highly revered Tampa Bay area design programs. Entries were judged based on creativity, originality and creative strategy. ClearpH also captured 2 Best of the Bay Awards for their work on the Swiss Stays website and collateral.

Attracting nearly 60,000 entries each year nationwide, the ADDY awards have become the nation's largest and most comprehensive advertising competition. The ADDY awards originated in the 4th District in 1960 and became a three-tiered National competition in 1968. Sponsored by the AAF, the awards honor excellence in advertising and cultivate the highest creative standards in the industry.
