Successful retail design agency create an inspiring promotional campaign for well-known perfume brand
Online PR News – 07-March-2013 – Leicester – With a New Year, comes new expectations, whether it’s in fashion, design or retail. Manufacturers reveal new products, along with powerful marketing campaigns which include impressive window displays, online advertising and brand marketing that grabs the attention. Design 4 Retail have created a new promotion within House of Fraser for the Angel and Alien Aqua Chic Limited Edition perfumes from Thierry Mugler, which have been very popular and their popularity comes not only from their various “flavours” but also their unique bottle designs and eye-catching appearance.
As they were working with a prestigious brand such as Alien, which has gained almost a cult following, D4R knew they needed their marketing which consisted of 7 promotional sites and various bespoke group window kits, to really stand out. Being promoted in Birmingham, Manchester and Sheffield would give this product line plenty of exposure and the material didn’t disappoint.
The displays co-merchandised both Alien and Angel perfumes which were included in a display which had a clever lighting effect, which projected onto clear baubles. When viewed from a different angle not only did this give an impressive look to the stand but they applied 3D aspects which helped to finish off the piece. In addition to that display, they created bubble tubes of varying colours to showcase the perfume bottles which became a real talking point with customers.
This was clearly an exciting project to work on from a retail design point of view and the end result also offered on the spot consultations and product testing for the ultimate experience in customer engagement. This allowed people to get up close and personal, chat to staff and to get a hands-on look at this attractive product which has been a “fan favourite” for so long.
