Online PR News – 07-March-2013 – Brisbane, Queensland – South East Queensland leaders in air conditioning, AC-TEC Services are one of the new sponsors of Team JELD-WEN for the 2013 International V8 Supercars Championship season.

Alex Davison will drive the number 18 JELD-WEN FPR Ford for Charlie Schwerkolt Racing. Team JELD-WEN forms part of Ford Performance Racing’s expanded four-car line-up for the new season.

“Starting a team from scratch is no easy task so having AC-TEC Services come on board has been a great boost in our inaugural year. They are new to the sport and very enthusiastic about what we are doing so we are already enjoying their support on and off the track,” Davison said.

“I am very proud to have AC-TEC Services join the team as one of our foundation partners. As I am also based in South East Queensland it is a nice feeling to have a ‘local’ company as part of the team,” Schwerkolt said.

AC-TEC Services has experienced rapid growth since its inception in 2007 with its head office based in Ormeau, halfway between the Gold Coast and Brisbane. The company specialises in providing air conditioning sales, service, installation, maintenance and repairs within the commercial, industrial and residential sectors.

Grant Richardson, General Manager of AC-TEC Services says, “we are very excited about our new partnership with CS Racing, FPR and Team JELD-WEN and look forward to a successful season with Alex Davison in the driver’s seat.”

The first event of the 2013 International V8 Supercars Championship kicked off last weekend in Adelaide for the Clipsal 500 (1-3 March) and the next race is the Australian GP in Melbourne (14-17 March).
