TNT Thailand Double Winners at Asia Pacific Conference 2013

Mr. Alan Miu, Managing Director, TNT Express Worldwide (Thailand) Co., Ltd., enjoys a rewarding moment with his team after receiving two awards on the company’s behalf; "The First Choice for Customers" and "Country of the Year," as chosen by the 2013 Asia Pacific Conference.

Online PR News – 07-March-2013 – Thailand – The TNT 2013 Asia Pacific Conference was held recently in Bangkok, and was attended by nearly 150 participants from different countries throughout the region. Attendees included members of the TNT Express Board; Bernard Bot (CEO), Steven Scheers (Group HR Director) and David Burton (Managing Director, Northern Europe and North America region).

Held under the theme of FUTURE-PROOF, the conference provided further clarity on the Asia Pacific plan that builds on TNT’s strategy to be the ‘Most Admired Delivery Company.’ The energy level throughout the conference was tremendous as representatives and guests joined together as one strong and highly motivated team.

A key highlight of the event was the “Most Admired” award ceremony, whereby a number of winners were commended for their outstanding performance in 2012. Thailand won two awards; "The First Choice for Customers" and "Country of the Year," besting regional competitors Mainland China and Malaysia. The "Great Place to Work" award was won by Mainland China over Taiwan and Thailand. Hoau was named winner of the "Sustainable Financial Results” award among finalists that included Indonesia and Malaysia. Two "Shaping the Future" awards were bestowed upon Australia on account of the "Women in Transport" and "Creating a Mobile Depot Solution" projects. Three special awards were given to Andrew Yang, Managing Director of Hoau, Bob Black, Managing Director of Australia & New Zealand, and Project Sunrise India.
