Online PR News – 10-May-2010 – – The book, “Size Eight in a Size Zero World,” deals with the “glitzy, societal fame game of Manhattan.” It’s written in the tradition of “Sex and the City,” and “The Ivy Chronicles.”
At Metrazur, a New York landmark restaurant, Ms. Cagen will discuss her book which has been described as a “deliciously, naughty take on New York society” and has quickly become a ‘must read.’
Ms. Cagen, a native of New York City, has drawn upon a lifetime of personal experience in writing her novel, “Size Eight in a Size Zero World.” The book is based on movers and shakers and ‘wannabees,” who live and work in Manhattan. She has fashioned a believable cast of characters, featuring Lindsay, an overworked, unappreciated working wife and mother who embarks on a plan to better herself and her plight.
Ms. Cagen obtained a B.A. from SUNY, Stony Brook, L.I., NY in Economics, an MBA, from Mount Sinai School of Medicine/ Baruch College. She became a Registered Nurse after working in Private Equity Investment Banking in the U.S. and Europe.
