Cliff Hillis Is Named Artist of the Month by

In a continuing effort to bring Beatles fans the artists that are most dedicated to keeping the Beatles' music alive, I-BFD has named musical artist Cliff Hillis as their Artist of the Month for March 2009.

Online PR News – 01-March-2009 – – The team at International-BFD is proud to announce musician Cliff Hillis of Phoenixville, PA as their website's Artist of the Month for March 2009. Mr. Hillis was given this honor for the Beatlesque style and influence found in his solo work and his tremendous cover of Paul McCartney’s This One which appears on Coming Up: An Indie Tribute to the Music of Paul McCartney.

When told he was being named Artist of the Month, Cliff replied, "What an honor.... I can't remember exactly how old I was when I first heard the Beatles, but anyone who knows me is aware of what a huge influence they have been on my music and my life. They are simply the best band ever. They are like garlic, you can never too much of it!"

These days when Cliff isn't out promoting his new solo album, The Long Now, he and his fellow musicians, Pete Wiedmann & Dennis Schocket, have developed a little side project they call The Threetles.

"We realized that we've always jammed on Beatles songs whenever we got together" says Hillis. With two shows already behind them, The Threetles hope to add more gigs to their schedule in the coming months.

But until then, fans of Cliff Hillis and the Beatles will be able to hear Cliff’s cover of the This One, along with Strawberry Fields and several solo works every Tuesday at Noon ET throughout the month of March on Beatles-A-Rama (, an internet based web radio show dedicated to playing the Beatles, their solo work and other works influenced by the greatest band the world has ever known.
