Gladinet releases a new version of Cloud Desktop with support for Mezeo storage, SDK enhancements and bug fixes.

This update adds Mezeo Storage to the long list of cloud services supported by the cloud service company. Other supported services include Amazon S3, Azure, ByCast, EMC Atmos, Google Docs, Nirvanix and more.

“Cloud Desktop v2.1 will change the businesses use Mezeo Storage services,” stated Jerry Huang, co-owner of Gladinet. “The newest version of Cloud Desktop will essentially make Mezeo storage a virtual drive or folder on the user’s computer and allow both drag-and-drop and set-it-and-forget-it file backup to Mezeo storage.”

Cloud Desktop v2.1’s appeal lies in its ability to integrate multiple third-party Web services into users’ individual desktop operating systems on an open platform. Popular cloud services no longer require users to manage numerous accounts and interfaces; instead, each can be mapped as a network drive directly accessible from Windows Explorer.

In addition to support for Mezeo Storage, improvements in Cloud Desktop v2.1 include an updated .Net SDK and several bug fixes and general enhancements.
