Feel Good Yoga Offers Course for Aspiring Yoga Studio Owners in Victoria BC

Well known and highly regarded Victoria, BC yoga studio offers eight-month course for those interested in opening a studio of their own or enhancing their current business.

Online PR News – 04-May-2010 – – Feel Good Yoga & Pilates studio, located in Victoria, BC, is thrilled to announce their partnership with the Yoga School of Business. Beginning in June, they will facilitate coursework designed to assist yoga teachers interested in expanding their practice.

During the eight month program, titled Yoga Business Builder, yoga enthusiasts who are hoping to own or expand their business will learn about marketing, organization and teacher training as well as the process of selecting and designing a studio space if they wish to do so.

Feel Good Yoga’s owner, Laura Phelps, hopes that this program will bring more people to the field and the practice of yoga. During a long and painful battle with mercury poisoning, Phelps found yoga and pilates could soothe her symptoms and increase her core strength. Not only did they become invaluable as a treatment of her body and spirit, they became her life’s work.

Phelps believes that this program will provide resources, insight and opportunity to those who, like her, want to make a living doing something they truly love.

“After several years of struggling to make a living as a yoga and pilates instructor, I realized that in order to continue doing what I love, I needed to focus more attention on building my business. This decision transformed my career,” says Phelps. “I am delighted to be teaming up with the Yoga School of Business to deliver the first business course that is specifically designed for yoga instructors”

If you are interested, but were unable to attend their studio’s information session on May 2nd, you can still register for the online session, which will be held May 12th at noon PDT. Anyone interested in attending this session should RSVP via e-mail: info@FeelGoodYogaVictoria.com.

These sessions will give basic information about the Yoga School of Business program, its coursework, and cost. For any practitioner with a passion for business, this program could send you into the career of your dreams.

Uncertified teachers or those who simply wish to develop their yoga and/or pilates skills further are encouraged to visit the Feel Good Yoga website for information about their upcoming pilates and yoga teacher training courses.
