In line with this belief, SIIB hosted the Colors of Youth festival in association with Maruti Suzuki in its campus recently.
A one of its kind festival, Colors of Youth is aimed at providing the youngsters a platform to showcase whatever talent that they posses apart from the skills that they have acquired as part of the managerial training in B-schools. Students from the MBA in Energy, MBA in Agriculture and MBA in International Business along with several counterparts from other B-schools across the country came out in big numbers to showcase their talents at the SIIB campus as a part of this festival. In fact, even the students who were here as part of the student exchange program operational in the SIIB campus, considered it an excellent platform to showcase their talents. Above all, Colors of youth and several such events that SIIB does on a regular basis are medium of helping students get rid of their accumulated stress and thereby go back to studying with a fresh mind after the much needed break.
This year’s edition of ‘Colors of youth’ witnessed a participation of more than thirty colleges from all over India that came down to the SIIB campus to participate in the fest. Youngsters from all over displayed their talent in terms of singing, dancing, fashion and several other domains. They were then judged by eminent names from the film industry, this panel of judges went on to choose the select few who will get a unique opportunity to represent their college and battle it out in the grand finale of Colors of Youth.
Students from SIIB who made it to the finals of the festival are Sankar, MBA in Energy Batch 2011-2013 - Solo Dance, Utsav Tayade & Nishesh Pandit, MBA in Energy, Batch 2011-2013 – Painting, Apurav Singh – Singing and Somil Singhal – Painting.
Events like these are a must for students at SIIB as it helps them to sharpen their overall personality and foster their true talent which ultimately contributes towards their evolving as creators of successful business policies in the future.
