Scotland celebrates hotels with personality

Two Scottish hotels set for £1 million re-branding exercise by Best Western Hotels group.

Online PR News – 29-April-2010 – – Two independent, four star Scottish hotels, Best Western Keavil House Hotel near Dunfermline and The Best Western Bruntsfield Hotel in Edinburgh are to benefit from a 1 million re-branding exercise launched by the UK’s largest group of independent hotels, Best Western Hotels.

“In a market where formulaic chains offer generic and boring hotel stays, we have a lot to shout about,” said Russell Imrie, Managing Director of both hotels and President of Best Western Great Britain.

“Our independence enables us to provide our customers with the very best experience. Guests enjoy our genuinely warm Scottish hospitality and the personality of our staff, combined with the extremely high quality service and facilities, and the fact that we can provide value for money with a product that is unique. I am delighted that Best Western has put money behind this message”.

In addition, Keavil House Hotel is celebrating the launch of its Elgin Suite, which gives Fife one of the largest conference venues and banqueting facilities in central Scotland. The venue holds 300 and, due to its country house location with easy access to the motorway network and Edinburgh airport, makes it a popular central meeting point for companies with regional offices. In addition to excellent meeting facilities, the hotel has 73 impressive bedrooms, an award winning restaurant and a leisure spa.

Both Keavil House Hotel and the 67 bedroom Bruntsfield Hotel in Edinburgh city centre, offer experiences that are individual to their locations and style. Chefs prepare interesting menus using local produce, staff are long-serving and often knowledgeable about the local environs and they share a passion for professional service. There is constant investment in the facilities and training and Keavil House recently scooping Best Western’s Large Hotel of the Year award.

The Best Western re-branding campaign will include television advertising and a programme of regional activity to highlight Best Western hotels’ character and independence.
