A new Kickstarter Movie campaign: that helps people who are in love, trying to find love, running away from or trying to save love this Valentine season.
Online PR News – 04-February-2013 – Los Angeles, CA – Up and coming Film Director, Dahmenah, latest project “Love Therapy” who is currently seeking finishing funds to complete this project. This movie is about an overworked and under loved therapist who spends her time fixing her clients love problems to avoid her own. Loneliness has become her bitter companion; but a handsome stranger could change everything. However, her clients hold onto the hope that one day there will achieve the love life they desire.
“Love Therapy” is a feature length movie that was shot in 8 days for $15, 000 dollars. Also, the Director, Director of Photography, Gaffer, Script Supervisor and First Assistant Director were women. On occasion, it was necessary to shoot fifteen pages a day in order to keep our tight schedule. It’s very rare in the male dominated Entertainment industry for women to be at the helm of a movie project. This is one of the aspects that make this project so unique.
Dahmenah is an independent filmmaker, who has done several projects over years which include a short film titled “Episode” and a documentary project, “Happily Ever After.” This is her first feature film project. This idea can from her years of working with therapists in the Social Services field. She is also the co-author of a book, “The Game Changers: How to Date Men in the 21st Century”, which is loosely based on the experiences of the characters in her movie.
