A professional pacific northwest communicators event set for May 12 at the Governor Hotel in Portland, Oregon. Organized by the PRSA and the IABC this event has been a premier professional communicators conference since 1996.

Before he switched to client management, Jim earned a number of awards as a copywriter. His career path led him to jobs on both U.S. coasts and the Midwest, including working on high tech and fast food accounts. He was a senior vice president with Ayer in New York, managing director of their Los Angeles office, and also a senior vice president at W.B. Doner and Lois/EJL. Jim founded ESW Partners seven years ago, which is now one of the 20 largest agencies in Chicago.

“Make Your Case” is the theme of this year’s conference, set for May 12 at the Governor Hotel in Portland, Oregon. Learn how to obtain management buy-in for new strategies, engage employees, embrace new media and build your career.

The event begins at 7:30 a.m. and ends with a 3:30-4:30 p.m. networking mixer.
