Online PR News – 23-April-2010 – – SCC International has been awarded their Unique Company Registered Digital Installer status meaning even more peace of mind for our clients.

Already industry leaders in of design, planning, installation and maintenance of digital TV systems solutions we continued to strive to give our clients more. SCC International are immensely proud to already hold Chas, Exor, Safe Contractor and many more accreditations as a company but being awarded RDI status by Martin Smith of RDI’s licensing body means that our clients can rest assured that our engineers working on their sites have passed stringent checks not only on their ability to do the job in hand via the NVQ qualification but also Working Safely at Heights certification and if that isn’t enough all engineers must clear a criminal record disclosure too.

SCC International have a very high number of engineers with RDI individual status and many more on their way not only at the minimum pass of Level 2 but many going on to pass Level 3 with flying colours to prove their competence of working on complex commercial systems which is at the core of SCC International’s business.

Martin Smith, Director of RDI-LB says “I am delighted that SCCi’s management has taken the decision to register their business with the RDI-LB. This steadfast approach to training its installation force and gaining for them each a ‘license to practice’, puts SCC International at the forefront of the aerial and satellite industry and demonstrates a total commitment to best practice. Further the achievements of some engineers to attain a level 3 qualification supports SCC International’s position at the top end of installers bidding for contracts within this sector – the RDI-LB is proud to have SCCI registered with its Government backed licensing body”

One such client experiencing the benefits of having skilled engineers on site is London & Quadrant at the new development known as Academy Central, Dagenham currently underway by Taylor Wimpey. 128 properties: a mix of mutli dwellings and houses to be served with a 5 wire IRS system (Integrated Reception System) to give the residents the choice of analogue TV (until switch off) digital terrestrial TV, digital satellite TV and digital FM radio.

Having RDI Company Status just gives our clients the peace of mind that they are dealing with a quality company in all areas of our workmanship.

Robert Wickings, Group Managing Director of SCC International says “I saw the RDI – LB scheme as a fantastic opportunity to give our engineers the chance to attain a recognised qualification in the aerial & satellite industry, with the support of North Hertfordshire College we have rolled out the NVQ program across our work force.

SCCI international has always aspired to deliver the highest standards and now we have formally achieved our RDI- LB company status this helps us reinforce our commitment to offering unrivaled quality installation and supply service to all our customers.

With the continued effort of the RDI-LB to raise standards within the industry and with greater customer awareness around the digital accreditation we see the RDI-LB company mark becoming the standard that all customers wishing to seek out quality installation companies will be looking for. It’s for these reasons I am very proud that we have reached this recognised standard”
