In preparation for its launch, REVO, is seeking fiction and non-fiction. The magazine focuses on social and artistic history from 1960 to the present.
Online PR News – 14-July-2009 – – REVO, a soon to be launched web-based magazine, is currently soliciting fiction and non-fiction on a broad-based variety of subjects. We do not publish poetry or experimental formats. Core content of the magazine is geared toward examining social and artistic history from 1960 to the present, with a concentration on the period from 1960 to the mid 70s. Key topics include politics, fashion, music, cinema, medicine, science and social milestones. Fiction may be from any genre, providing that it is well written. Compensation is by-line credit and exposure. Authors retain copyright ownership. Selected material will be published under an implied grant of unlimited reproduction license, including promotional and other uses.
Accepted material must be well-written and, in the case of non-fiction, verifiable research references should be attached. Because REVO is a visually-driven product, material that can be photographically or otherwise illustrated is especially welcome. Submissions longer than 5,000 words must lend themselves to serialization.
