The HTC Legend has now followed the HTC Desire and recently released HD Mini onto the O2 network. Phones Limited is now comparing deals for all 3 of these latest HTC phones on O2 deals from over 30 mobile phone retailers.

Online PR News – 19-April-2010 – – HTC have been extremely busy this year releasing new and exciting models from their portfolio, the HTC Legend has now found a new network with O2 and joins both the HTC HD Mini and HTC Desire on a range of third party O2 deals.

The Legend and Desire are both Android powered mobile phones featuring the latest Android 2.1 operating system whilst the HTC HD Mini is the latest Windows Mobile device running the WinMo 6.5.3 OS.

There are many similarities between the HTC Legend and Desire phones, both feature a quality 5.0 mega pixel camera with autofocus and flash on the reverse of their housings, the HTC Sense user interface, the new optical track pad navigation solution and the new Friend Stream application.

Friend Stream brings together social networking updates, emails and text messages from the users contacts list and displays them on one of the phones home screens in a continuous stream of information keeping the user fully updated with all of their friends communication activity.

Both the HTC HD Mini and Legend handsets feature a 3.2 inch touch screen display whilst the HTC Desire goes a step further with a 3.7 inch AMOLED touch screen, the HD Mini also features the HTC Sense UI but runs it over the top of Windows Mobile.

The two Android phones both have access to an ever increasing selection of new applications via the Android market, at last count there were over 20,000 new applications available for download and with both phones offering an expandable memory there is plenty of room to store these handy apps.

Competition for the HTC legend is actually pretty stiff with so many new phones featuring a similar 3.2 inch touch screen, the most notable of these include the Sony Ericsson Vivaz, Nokia X6 and Nokia N97 Mini, Samsung Omnia 2, LG GD880 Mini and soon to be released Sony Ericsson X10 Mini and Mini Pro handsets.

This latest release on O2 for the HTC Legend has almost doubled the number of pay monthly deals available to consumers as well as added in some further free gift combination packages, the Legend is set for more network launches over the coming weeks with T-Mobile and the dedicated 3G network 3 Mobile set to pick up this latest HTC phone.
