Charlotte-based custom pool designer/builder earns high marks for customer satisfaction, winning it a Talk of the Town Award for providing excellent customer service.

Backyard Retreats Pools and Spas provides custom-designed concrete pools and spas for the Charlotte, Tega Cay and Rock Hill communities. The company is locally owned and operated, and company founder, Stuart McCall, personally designs and builds each pool. McCall is on site every day installing and overseeing each project.

McCall credits his company’s willingness to be there for the customer every step of the process for winning the Talk of the Town Award. “We are always calling to let the customer know what the schedule is, and if the schedule changes we call and let them know what’s going on,” he says. “Also, we are still available to customers long after the pool is built.”
