A European charity drive with a difference. A unique holiday that every petrol head should try and a chance to raise money for charity at the same time. A drive like no other, once a year one has a right to go crazy, Why not go crazy with ROGUE RUN?
Online PR News – 07-January-2013 – London, UK – When the Rogue Run Charity drive was created in 2012, it was only between friends who decided to raise money for The Jennifer Trust charity. For everyone that participated, Rogue Run proved that some fuel and some genuine people can easily raise money for a good cause. So in 2013, the Rogue Run event opened to the public to join in the fun and adventure.
In 2012 over £1000 was raised with only a few people on board travelling over 6 countries (France, Monaco, Italy, Austria, Germany, Belgium), in just over 5 days. After 2,700 miles, the group had discovered some amazing scenery, places they would like to revisit, and had some great laughs at the same time.
Rogue Run will again be raising money for The Jennifer Trust in 2013. It is a national UK charity governed by a dedicated Board of Trustees that provides a range of information and support to families and health professionals on Spinal Muscular Atrophy. As with most charities, they employ a small number of staff and rely on a huge network of volunteers to assist with their support and fundraising.
The Rogue Run 2013 route is scheduled to start on Wednesday 22 May when the ferry will arrive in France, to finish on the Monday 27 May in Belgium (Bruges). In between they are expected to cover Germany, Luxembourg, Amsterdam and Belgium, along with some carefully selected locations such as the famous Nürburgring.
If you wish to join them, please go to their website: http://www.roguerun.co.uk, or their Facebook page for all of the news and updates. http://www.facebook.com/RogueRunfanpage - The registration deadline is 31 January 2013.
