Colleagues at ICS Cool Energy raises £4,000 for Cash for Kids

Southampton based company raise £4000 for Cash for Kids

Online PR News – 05-January-2013 – Southampton, UK – Staff at Southampton-based ICS Cool Energy Ltd raised £2,000 for Cash for Kids as a result of a raffle at their annual Christmas party at the Grand Harbour De Vere Hotel, earlier this month.

This amount raised was then doubled by the Board of Directors to £4000.
Cash for Kids is a charity which raises money for local children and young people who are suffering from neglect, have special needs or who simply need extra care or guidance.

Wave 105FM, a local radio station, has been active in raising awareness of the charity throughout the past year, through activities including trekking the Great Wall of China.

Simon Clarke, who presents on weekday afternoons, commented “We were delighted to be the nominated charity for the ICS Cool Energy Christmas Party, and were blown away by their generous donation. These funds will ensure lots of disadvantaged children in the South will directly benefit. We would like to thank ICS Cool Energy for their support.”

Russell Wilson, Director added “I am delighted that my colleagues managed to raise these funds for such an important local charity. I hope that our donations go a little way to bringing hope and happiness for the children within our communities this Christmas and into the New Year.”
