MICATALYST Announces Three Powerful MDPs at MICA in January 2013

MICATALYST, the MDP Centre at MICA, has announced fully-residential management development programmes (MDPs) during January 2013 in key management areas important for senior industry professionals in advertising, entertainment and media to refresh and upgrade their skills.

Online PR News – 01-January-2013 – Ahmedabad / Gujarat – Developed, designed and delivered by expert faculty at MICA, these application-oriented MDPs are made relevant and useful for the industry by adding latest case studies, interactive workshops and presentations by thought-leaders.

The first MDP on ‘Effective Knowledge Management in Advertising, Media and Entertainment’ (16-18 January, 2013) will be conducted by Dr. Shailesh Yagnik as the lead faculty. Professionals and managers engaged in managing corporate, institutional library, knowledge/ information centres (newspaper/audio/video library, digital centre) will benefit from this MDP on ‘Effective Knowledge Management in Advertising, Media and Entertainment Industry’. Those who are involved in archiving information in advertising, media and entertainment Industry will also benefit from this MDP.

The second MDP on ‘Business Research and Analytics for Effective Decision Making’ ( 22-24 January, 2013) will be conducted by Dr. Rasananda Panda as the programme director. This MDP is designed in such a way so it gives exposure to the participants about research problems formulation, application of appropriate research design and skills of data generation, data processing and statistical analysis at both; basic and advance level. The MDP will go beyond with a special emphasis on how the research can help senior managers in the industry to take better business decisions – by correctly defining the research problems, choosing the right research methodology and interpreting the research findings to generate key business insights.

The third MDP on ‘Powering Your Advertising: An IMC Approach’ (29th January – 1st February, 2013) will be conducted by Prof. Prriya Raj as the lead faculty. The MDP will help participants to add tremendous value by creating relevant, original and impactful communication campaigns – in short-term and deliver consistent long-term advantage. The MDP will be ideal for senior managers from marketing, advertising, PR (external communications) and HR (internal communications) for developing a truly integrated mind-set to deliver results that are spectacular.
