Third party O2 deals have now been lanched for the HTC Desire, joined today by the HTC HD Mini and recently by the HTC Legend these three latest smart phones now have their deals compared at Phones Limited.
Online PR News – 12-April-2010 – – The advanced new Desire phone from HTC has finally landed on the O2 network, the HTC Desire has already been picked up by four rival networks including Vodafone, Orange, T-Mobile and Virgin Mobile now leaving just the dedicated 3G network, 3 Mobile to release this latest HTC Android phone.
The Desire has also now been joined by the new HTC Legend which also runs on the Android platform and is a direct upgrade to the previous Hero handset which proved so popular amongst new Android users.
The HTC Desire takes a different design route to the Legend by offering a larger 3.7 inch touch screen display as opposed to the smaller 3.2 inches of both the Legend and new HTC HD Mini phone, the screen is also more advanced using AMOLED technology for a brighter and clearer viewing experience although this does add to the price of the phone.
Other features include WiFi, 3.5G data support and HSDPA for fast downloading and seamless internet connections, looking very similar to the Google Nexus One phone the Desire adds in support for Flash 10.1 and an optical track pad as opposed to the physical track ball solution.
The Desire also packs in the new FriendStream application which acts as an organiser for the users friends conversations and activities, this pulls together things like text messages, emails and social networking updates into a continuous stream of updates keeping the user informed of their friends thoughts and actions.
HTC have been busy recently with their latest range of mobile phone releases, the aforementioned HTC HD Mini has just hit the market as an alternative to the larger screened HD2 model for a more pocket friendly device running the same Windows software and with very similar features.
Competition is rife in the smart phones sector with many of the manufacturers recently launching a number of new models, most notable of these are the Nokia X6, Motorola Milestone, LG InTouch Max, Sony Ericsson Vivaz and Sony Ericsson Xperia X10.
The HTC Desire has also now been made available as a SIM Free phone as well as being offered on the Pay As You Go service, this latest network release on O2 is one that many consumers have been waiting for and also further swells the number of pay monthly tariffs available making it easier to get the best deal possible to suit the consumers usage requirements.
