On Saturday, May 1, the Professional Women's Alliance of CT (PWA-CT) will present a panel at the Fairfield County Women's Expo at the Stamford Plaza Hotel. The panel is entitled: "Women in Transition: Guiding Women Through Life Changes."

Online PR News – 07-April-2010 – – Stamford, CT - The Professional Women’s Alliance of Connecticut (PWA-CT) is proud to present a panel entitled: “Women in Transition: Guiding Women Through Life Changes,” at the upcoming Fairfield County Women’s Expo to be held at the Stamford Plaza Hotel, May 1 and 2, 2010. The panel will run from 3 pm to 5 pm on Saturday, May 1.
PWA-CT is a group of independent professionals from Fairfield and New Haven counties. Members are licensed in the areas of accounting, career coaching, finance, law, mental health, mortgages, real estate, insurance, retirement planning, taxes and committed to pooling expertise and resources in order to provide individuals, facing major life transitions, with a multifaceted service not available elsewhere.
Fairfield Attorney Karen Stansbury and Westport financial planner Elizabeth Cox, CFP™ launched PWA-CT in 2008 in response to a real need they saw among clients for comprehensive, caring guidance.
“"Life transitions--like parenthood, job loss or reentry to the work force, retirement, divorce, or widowhood--can be complex and overwhelming,” says Cox. “We formed PWA-CT as an alliance of highly trained professionals from a broad range of disciplines to educate those going through such transitions and empower them to navigate these challenges."
As part of their panel at the Fairfield County Women’s Expo ten members of PWA-CT will discuss the ins and outs of investing, taxes, medical care, securing a mortgage, the divorce process, career coaching and listing, marketing and selling a home.
