Europe’s leading LED screen provider, ADI Group, continue to expand globally securing their second FIFA World Cup 2010 contract.
Online PR News – 08-July-2009 – – One of Europe’s leading providers of LED screens, ADI Group, continue to expand globally securing their second contract for one of the 10 official FIFA World Cup 2010 stadia.
Having completed the installation of a Virtuality LED screen and full control room at The Loftus Versfeld Stadium in Pretoria, South Africa – one of the country’s largest FIFA World Cup 2010 venues – ADI have confirmed a contract to install two 60m² LED screens and digiSCORE scoreboards at the brand new Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane.
ADI have recently opened their South Africa offices, which along with offices in the UK, Hong Kong, Australia, Bahrain and Nigeria make up a growing global company.
The market leading UK company, with their proprietary Virtuality brand at the forefront of LED Screens in UK stadia, provide support and installation at Premier League grounds such as Villa Park, Goodison Park and Upton Park, and supply LED screens on rental contracts to Glastonbury and The London Marathon amongst other big name clients.
The screens at The Loftus Versfeld Stadium were recently used during the Second British & Irish Lions Test versus South Africa and also during the 2009 FIFA Confederations Cup, including a 3-0 win for eventual winners Brazil over FIFA World Cup holders Italy.
ADI UK’s Chief Executive Geraint Williams said: “ADI’s strength has always been about so much more than manufacturing LED screens. Through innovative products, integrated solutions and high levels of service & support we are aiming to replicate the whole ADI brand and ethos in other territories.
“With major contracts such as at Loftus Versfeld and Polokwane, the challenge comes in replicating our domestic success on a global platform, whilst overcoming the geographical constraints.
“The new ADI SA offices make us ideally positioned to expand into a growing market, particularly given its status as the location for the 2010 FIFA World Cup. As well as providing a full service for installed LED product, ADI SA will operate a rental business and is soon to take delivery of mobile LED screens to cater for sports, entertainment and music events.”
