Working to bring a Craft Beer Revolution to El Salvador, Brew Revolution is the first Central American Craft Brewery to use 'crowdfunding' via kickstarter. The project only has 30 days to raise $22,400 to fund expansion - doubling their building and tripling fermentation.

Online PR News – 10-December-2012 – Playa El Tunco, El Salvador Dec 10, 2012 – PLAYA EL TUNCO, EL SALVADOR (December 10th, 2012) El Salvador's first Craft Brewery, Brew Revolution, is turning to the internet to fund their expansion to meet exploding demand for Craft Beer in El Salvador. Since opening June 1st, 2012 their American style ales have been well received and demand has grown dramatically. The initial building and fermentation system was outgrown in the first 6 months and now the brewery needs to expand to meet demand. Brew Revolution is using to raise funds to double their brewery building and triple fermentation capacity.

In line with guidelines companies have a fixed number of days to raise the funds, or the project receives nothing. Brew Revolution's project has a short 30 day window to raise all of the funds ($22,400) to complete the expansion. If all of the funds are not raised by January 9th, 2012 all pledges are cancelled and the expansion will not be funded.

Founders Andy and Nanelle Newbom sold literally everything they owned and moved to El Salvador to open the first ever Craft Brewery there. When asked why they are using Andy Newbom noted “The ability to let our fans and clients have a direct hand in spreading the Craft Beer revolution in Central America is invaluable.” An added benefit for projects is Kickstarters merchant partner, which enables each project the convenience of receiving funds from anywhere in the world.

For this expansion project the “Brew Accionistas” (Brew supporters) can help Brew Revolution to:
Triple fermentation capacity (from 350 liters a week to 1050 liters a week)
Triple conditioning and carbonating space
Double the size of their micro brewery building and add a walk in cooler
Health Benefits and technical training for their team (all local Salvadorenos)

Co-founder Nanelle on the reasons for the expansion: “The team does such a good job, we cannot keep up! We are selling nearly every drop of beer we produce each week and demand is still increasing!” “The people of El Salvador want great Craft Beer.”

About Brew Revolution.
Brew Revolution is brewing Craft Beer in El Salvador. Our mission is to brew to terroir reflecting the unique and flavorful land, water, fruits, flowers and spirit of where we brew our ales. We combine the California and Belgian styles of brew, emphasizing seasonal and local ingredients, and flavors. All of our ales are made with malted barley (malta), American Hops (lupulo) and brewers yeast (levadura) and never with adjuncts like corn or rice. Each of our beers has uniquely Salvadoran character, via local honey, rosa de jamaica, panela, manzanas pedorras, nispero, pineapple, marracuya, loroco or other tropical ingredients which bring the full flavor of our beloved El Salvador through our beers to your glass.
