FICTIONAL ADVENTURE INCORPORATES BIBLICAL VERSES AND EXCERPTS TO TACKLE MODERN DAY ISSUES FOR KIDS
Online PR News – 07-December-2012 – Los Angeles, CA – FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Los Angeles, CA - Suspense filled children’s book, published through Xulon Press, by author, blogger, producer Casandra Moreno Lombera is the first installment of the Light Riders series available on both paperback and ebook formats. Light Riders engages young readers by addressing their common social and family issues: bullying, making new friends, parenting, truth telling, and taking risks, to name a few, with the help of supernatural forces, thrilling, mysterious encounters, and ancient Biblical teachings.
Casandra is available for in person, phone, and Skype interviews. Please contact her for a complimentary PDF copy of the book. She is working on the Spanish translation of Light Riders to be completed in 2013. “This journey forced me to learn the process of self publishing on my own – talk about a huge challenge – now I can’t wait to complete the second installment. My two children and grandbabies inspired me to write the series and create some entertaining reading options (like C.S. Lewis did) that support them in becoming courageous, generous, and compassionate people amidst all the peer pressure and family breakdowns that could obstruct those good values.”
Both Amazon and Barnes & Noble retail the ebook for $7.49. Paperbacks retail at Xulon Press for $14.99 and for $11.69 or more through online bookstores. A percentage of each book sold will be donated to Hope worldwide.
Light Riders readers have shared their reviews both on Amazon and directly to the author:
“I took my time in reading and absorbing this beautiful story. It celebrates the grandeur of all living things with respect and a noble spiritual magic. It engages one's imagination to soar into the possibility of goodness and celestial intervention in all that we do, offering hope and inspiration. The children in the story were challenged... It demonstrates the existence of wickedness but re-enforces the existence of God and His warriors ready to defend and protect us. The author's view of God's magnificent love, power and majesty is so comforting and encouraging in this troubled world. BRAVO!” - Maria Guzman Kennedy, 2011 Congressional Honoree
“I loved it! It was really interesting and made me want to read more.” – Anthony, a 10 year old boy
“I like how Noah and Lazlo have a special relationship and how they communicate with each other.” – Chloe, a 12 year old girl
“Amazingly entertaining… could not put it down! An incredible message. I definitely recommend it!” – Karina Smith, teen ministry counselor and childcare services provider
“Reading your book at night fills my head with beautiful images…ok funny ones too. Laz is soooo cute! Noah barely saw the burning light and Laz jumped in it…loving this story!” - Denise Ramirez, College Student
"This is something that children can really get into. Very imaginative and easy to envision!” – RV Bobbi Martinez, Founder and President of PTL Plus Ministries and Bookstore
