Start Up Conceived At MICA's Business Incubation Centre Awarded

Amitech, a start up incubated in MICA’s business incubation centre “Comcubator”, has won The Manthan Award – South Asia & Asia Pacific 2012 (eTravel and Tourism Category).

“Amitech Business Solutions” was started in January 2011 as an IT Services Company. The start up has been supported by MICA’s Comcubator whose main aim is to develop, nurture, promote and successfully commercialise ventures, based on innovative products, models, tools, techniques, and technologies and/or render services in the area of communications.

After serving many clients, the founders Ruchit Patel and Amit Panchal decided to not to be just another services company. They soon became a product company. Today, the company has more than 12 applications in iTunes and Android Market. That includes “BeatMaster” application which has been downloaded 20k times in just 3 days and was in top 10 Music apps in the iTunes store for long time. They have several web start ups, one of them being “All Events in City” which won the award. “All Events in City” is a global start up which has been successful in getting users to post 4.5 Million events on their platform across 12000 cities of the world in just 18 months.
